Lori is kick butt

I really like Lori. She was a headstrong character that didn’t take and bull. A female over 40 looking for a new start stumbles on a group that are weary over what trouble she could cause. Rex is determined to keep his group safe but the pull between him and Lori steamed up my kindle.

Lori has moved to Eugene to be near her son after leaving Montana when her husband takes off with the hostess of their bar. She is jogging and trying to figure out her health watch when she notices a raven. She follows it to a clearing where she sees men and women turn into wolves. She screams then runs only to fall and hit her head. Rex is the alpha of the pack that shifted. He has his sister do a forget spell on her. When Lori comes around Rex gives her a ride till she sees something familiar since she's new to the area. Later she gets a job in one of his businesses and his pack is not happy. Until one day/night she is harassed and she notices her hands are paws. WHAT!!!???
Elle Sonnali is a gifted narrator that brings life into the characters!.

I loved the whole story!

Meg did a really good with her world and character building in this as well as other books. She certainly knows how to make s villain you love to dislike. I also enjoyed the narrator I think she did a good job as well.

suspense

The story seemed slow to start but once it got going it was great! It was great!

Full of surprises

I loved all the surprises tossed my way, throughout this book. Lori was just trying to survive and put her past behind her. There were lots of obstacles thrown in her direction, I loved how she dealt with them. Rex tried so hard to stay away, but he knew there was no way he could. This book will immediately grab you and not release you even at the end, you will want it to continue. The narrator is awesome.
