I don't believe in forever. I don't believe in marriage or a love that lasts. But Jarrod Thorpe is doing a damn good job trying to convince me that I'm wrong. I'd give him forever if I could.

Forceful Intimacy is the third book in a complete contemporary romance series from Internationally best-selling author, Hanleigh Bradley.

Six months. That’s how long Tallulah Conway has been in my life.

It’s not been easy. She’s fought against me every step of the way, she’s fought against loving me, letting me love her, fought against a relationship, fought against our future, and then, when she finally concedes, when she finally gives in and sees the future I see for us, this happens.

Six months...

Twenty-six weeks...

One hundred and eighty-two days...4,380 minutes, hours...six months is not enough. Nowhere fucking near.

But what if the future I’m clinging to doesn’t exist?

Forceful Intimacy is the third book in a complete contemporary romance series.

This is a story of bravery and overcoming immense obstacles. It's about choosing to trust again when your every instinct tells you not to.

The third book in the trilogy begins where book 2 ended. Jarrod is on edge, not wanting to lose Lou, knowing he hasn’t had enough time with her. Of course, it wouldn’t be much of an HEA if part of the couple didn’t make it, but their trials are far from over, as Lou works through recovering from yet another trauma inflicted by her ex. The infinitely patient and loving Jarrod makes all the right moves, gives her time and space, but refuses to let her walk away. Love is strong enough, in the end, to help heal and move forward. I really enjoyed how their relationship progressed and moved forward, a very sweet love story, with a healthy dose of steam.

4.5 stars - Tallulah has been through the wringer with everything that's gone on with her ex. This installment starts with heartbreaking news for Jarrod and the rest of her chosen family as Tallulah was rushed to the hospital and undergoes surgery. Near the end, another trip to the hospital happens for one of them. (Thankfully, less dramatic!)

With Jarrod's unwavering support, Tallulah is able to face her biggest nightmare and finds an emotional way to move forward and help others. The display of her artwork is a tear-jerker of an event so be prepared with tissues! And what happens at the end of the viewing is absolutely perfect! 💚😢💚🥳

'I've never been so scared of anything in my whole life than I am right now of losing her.' -- Jarrod Thorpe

I have loved this series, definitely including this installment, but I'm sad to see the end of the road for their story. There is a bonus epilogue that is sweet and heartwarming but I want MORE. 😘

I listened to an author copy of this book. I like the narrator, Vera Zweig, but would've preferred two narrators to add more vocal depth to the characters. Also, there were a lot of editing issues - jumps, volume, and speed changes (chapter four is a great example of this). I've listened to it on two different devices with the same results. While it's disappointing, I couldn't stop listening because I love this story.

Story: 4.5 stars
Narration: 3 stars (dropped rating due to editing issues)
