Each day there are new unique challenges, for they are led by orders from Freya. Coming in from all over the world are the calls for help, some right in their own backyards. The family is constantly growing, as the need to find homes for so many abused children is answered with joy by the residents of Swenson Castle. Leah tries to adjust to the life, so different from her home in Virginia, as her past life calls, tugging at her heart: "Be careful what you ask for."

All the while, Banyan's sister Zyanna is watching, waiting for her chance to destroy Freya and Leah, to enslave Zeal.
