Fabulous!

Andrea can write a wonderful story! The plot was smooth and it built up to a great ending. It had lots of different twists and emotions. I laughed-out-loud a time or two.
Alexander and Rachelle were great narrators. They brought it to life and their voices portrayed each character with believable emotions!

Amazing Ending to the Forbidden Duet! Awesome🎧📚🎧

Jesse and September’s concludes in this second novel of the “Forbidden” series something I have been waiting for since that mind-mind blowing ending of the first book, “Loving Jesse”. I was kind of hating on the author for that ending, but I knew she had her reasons for that ending and that she would do the right thing for these characters in her next book. Well, it was definitely worth the wait, Andrea Smith not only redeemed herself but she went above and beyond with these characters and in the end taking them where they needed to be. With so many obstacles and road bumps, Jess and September’s journey was not an easy one, but in the end, they both got what they wanted and deserved. Those obstacles included not only themselves but Libby aka Sarah, Casey, the witch next door and even Brandon. This beautifully written and plotted story drew me in right from the start, grabbing my attention and captivating it the entire book. It was great to watch how far these characters have come, watching September grow in to her own and take charge of her life, Jesse finally standing up to what he wants and even Scout, who, like her sister, was wise beyond her years. Like the first book, there was never a dull moment, and I loved how everything played out, there was plenty of drama and heartfelt emotions, some angst, twists and turns and a romance that was years in the making, forbidden or not, I say not. Andrea Smith, thank you for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride, your brilliant mind never ceases to amaze and entertain me.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Andrea Smith cast the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Alexander Cendese and Rachelle Williams are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that was a perfect fit for that character’s persona, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Alexander Cendese nailed it as Jesse, carefree yet caring, Rachelle Williams played September with perfection. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Yes! Just what we wanted for this series, Jesse’s POV!

I am so glad we got Jesse’s POV in this book. Lady’s, the amount of times I melted over this man’s voice… too many! This man ,y’all this man. The way he takes care of September in and out of the bedroom. 🙌🏼 Now he messes up a couple times but what man don’t?! I’m a sucker for that protective manly man that is a teddy bear for his woman. Controlling but only in the good way. IYKYK! Respectful while also standing his ground. Encourages her to enjoy life as a young adult while also loving her and letting her know who her man is. 🥵 Yup, that’s Jesse! Did I mention how absolutely divine his voice is…oh I did 😉.

Now September, very grown up for her age but also had her moments. 😆 There was a couple times I wanted to throttle her and just scream at her to talk to Jesse but I understood her POV on it. You can really see how much more grown up she becomes in this book and I loved that. She finally got to tell her Momma how it is and oh how joyous that was to read. I was high fiving September and cheering her on. That announcement towards the end, 😮 that was a complete shock but made the listening experience that much more exciting.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was so relatable in many ways. I really enjoyed the whole series but the second book was even more intriguing and enjoyable. I love the books that are a rollercoaster of emotions and this one did that and more. I would highly recommend this series.

Great Ending

Once again the narrator's voice captures this story great. this journey was a crazy one. the ending is great and i love a HEA book. Just like with the last book though i wish it was a little longer. I want to spend more time with these characters. I want more with scout and how she comes along. but as the book is itself i love it. The hot scenes are just that hot as fire and it has the ups and downs that i love so much!! I think everyone will find something in this series to enjoy.
