Just FANTASTIC!

This was wonderful military Sci-fi. Great story, great narration! This book kept my attention all the way through.

Great start to new series by Marc Edelheit

Great novel only enhanced by the narration of Daniel Wisniewski. Definitely worth the credit and one that I will be going back to from time to time. Here is my vote for making this an extended series with many more great tales.

Action packed story

Great listen and entertaining from the jump! Cant wait to listen to the next one.

A blast off of a start!

This is exactly the military space oprea I've been looking for!

Story: The story feels like it starts off as a sequel, immediately jumping into Capt. Steele's shoes with very little told of humanity's current circumstance in space or how it had gotton there. Despite that the plot moves at a good pace and the action is very well written with space combat filled with details sci-fi fans crave.

Characters: The characters are written well, though only a handful receive back stories to judge off of. I greatly enjoyed that the author maintained only one point of view throughout the story VS. jumping from one perspective to the next which can be confusing.

Overall: It's a bare bones good read! Compared to similar space opera military novels, Forged in Battle avoids over generalizing its space jargon and actually seems to recognize the scale of space!

Marc does it again, another book that sucks you in and keeps you awake at night till you finish. cant wait for the next one
