Mack Banes is the first face you want to see in the last place you'd want to be…

Wreck Jumpers are highly specialized soldiers trained for search and rescue deep behind enemy lines. They are the special forces operators sent in when things have already gone from bad to worse.

Malcolm "Mack" Baines and his Recovery Team are the best of the best. When a Special Orbital Assault Regiment School nestled inside an asteroid belt suddenly goes dark, Mack and his team of Wreck Jumpers are tasked with putting eyes on the target.

Their mission: recon the site and turn the comms back on.

What they find is a base in chaos with survivors desperately holding out for rescue amid oceans of floating rock and an unknown enemy determined to make the Wreck Jumpers part of a growing body count.

Just one wrong move could mean a crushing end in the cold vacuum of space and the death of everyone relying on Mack and his operators…

But that's why Mack became a Wreck Jumper in the first place.

The authors are the best. Their stories are always great, and so is this one. When I saw who was narrating, I didn't wait! Clifton Duncan also narrated Underspire by the same authors, he is SO GOOD. I hope he does more Forgotten Ruin books, and I will be getting Wreck Jumpers 2 immediately upon release! He is very gifted at voices and accents. The story itself was non stop action, and so well written, the dialog, the descriptions, everything! Just amazing! For Galaxy's Edge fans, this one is a MUST!

The story was good but the narrator made the first few hours sound like i was listening to a bunch of thugs trying to organize a bank heist. If you plan on continuing this story, please use a different narrator.

I like the ending, made it appear more in line with the Dark Ops books. I’m still confused how basically the Legion version of the PJs get in so deep with an op or conspiracy and not just be a support element on call to assist the regular Legion. Should have just made a “Kill Team Ice” book IMO.

Decent story, bad narration

This story is incredibly interesting. Several characters really stand out. I enjoyed the dialogue and the plot. The sci-fi world is filled with aliens, humans, and tech that are fascinating. My only complaint is that I would have liked a bit more description of the world created here. I plan to listen to all of the audiobooks in this series.

Brilliant Performative Narration

Action from start to finish. KYF! This is a very good addition to the galaxy built by Cole and Anspach. Well done. I will be continuing the series.

Well done

I am glad to read more on the lead up to the fall of the Republic. This gives background on a few familiar characters while adding new Leejes to follow. I hope there will be more books in this line.

Great intel on the start of the Galaxy’s Dumpster Fire.
