Love the characters

A great series. Well written and great narration. I can’t wait for another series or volume with this one.

Page turner that honors our fallen

The action is great and does not get overshadowed by technical detail. Also, the author takes the time to honor the courage and dedication of other soldiers. Most of us know the Afghanistan debacle upset and angered so many vets, and this book explains why. 

Loved the story line, one of my new favorite authors

The Narrator, Scott Brick is outstanding. Everyone of his narrations pull you into the story and keep you engaged.

Technical action that doesn't drown in the details

The writer is able to put together compelling characters, a plot that is solid yet easy to follow, and love. The only thing he lacks is submariners, because everybody knows they are the sexiest members of the military.

He develops technical aspects of the story without resorting to drowning the reader in minutia. Sometimes, it feels like writers use too much techno-boogey in an effort to overcome their own personal lack of experience. You can tell this writer has experiences.

I will definitely add this writer to my future reads.
