abridged?

do you like 90s sitcoms with random claps and sound bites? then you won't have an issue. 81/0 not too distracting. like other have said Tarins voice doesn't match, some actors voices are too similar to tell who's talking. story is abridged. also pronunciation of 'Macabre'? fingers crossed they figure out how to say 'armoire' for the next part 🤦‍♀️😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Like it but…..

Our main boys needed a deep voice!!!! But not a bad listen at all!! Still love it!

A movie in your head

I had already read the book once when I decided to get the audio book as well.. I read alot of books, and it is very unusual that I reread anything. That in itself says alot about the quality of this book. This performance audio version was however a new way of listening and I have to say that it was a real treat. If you are buying the audio book, buy this version! I felt when I read the book the first time that it would have made a good movie and this is basically, like they say, a movie inside your head.

I’ve already read the book through Iron Flame as well as listened to all of Fantasy Fangirls podcast. Now I’m rereading via this dramatized version. Can’t wait for all the dramatized versions of this series (in the future)!

Splendid: The TV series will have a hard time living up to this!

The full cast had this on lock. The sound of flapping dragon wings and patter of feet on the training grounds makes this something that interests me more than anything on screen today. I’ve listen to it 3 times in 4 days!
