Sweet Continuation of Book 1 & 2

Book 3 of "Southern Romance" follows Clara's younger sister, Cecelia mostly. Clara and Jasper are finally happy and are going to spend the rest of their lives together...everyone is happy but Cecelia. She's pregnant and engaged to someone she doesn't even like. Seeing her unhappiness, Clara wants to know why but Cecelia doesn't want to tell.


Again, another cute and short book. We get another couple pairing besides Clara and Jasper which is nice. This book did go back in time a couple times, which made it slightly confusing to follow. Not as good as the 1st but still worth the read.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review. This book continues the story. I like this storyline in this book better. These books needs to be listened to in order for it to make sence. My opinion. Ian Gordon does a good job narrating this book.

evil overcome

I was disappointed that Cecilia would let herself be forced into a loveless marriage. I wanted her to be stronger, especially when there was someone she was in love with. Thankfully fate intervened. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

A Pregnancy and Less Than Ideal Betrothal

In Civil War era Pennsylvania, Cecilia, sister of the heroine in book 1 of the series, is pregnant and betrothed, but not happy.

Read/listen in series order. This is book 3 of 4.

This book's timeline overlaps that of book 1 in the series, but told from Cecilia's perspective, but timeline is not linear with many flashbacks.

I am binging this series. The narrator is very good. But, for me, narration would have been better with more convincing female voices and more distinct character differences.
