I want more than a chance. I want you. And I won't take "No" for an answer.

Cats are always supposed to land on their feet, but omega shifter Jesse has done everything but that. After escaping the mental institute he's been held in most of his life, he ends up stranded with a broken leg.

On the trail of an arsonist, alpha wolf Asher Lambert stumbles across a wounded omega guarded by a scarred grizzly shifter who says they were waiting for him. Asher takes them both home, figuring the least he can do is help Jesse get on his feet, literally and figuratively.

Can Asher break away from the known and risk starting a new pack with his mate, his ragtag group of friends, and the silent bear who just won't leave?

Freedom for His Omega is the first audiobook in the Outcast Chronicles. It contains mpreg and knotting.

Can I say that I hope grumpy bear Casper finds a mate? I loved him from the moment he collected the blueberries. So well done and I enjoyed listening to it.

Awww...Casper

This book was really cute and a delight to listen to in audio. It was a really great start to what looks to be a promising series of a Group of Alpha Bounty Hunters. It was pretty light and fun and all of the characters were really likeable, even the gruffer Alpha Asher and the Grizzly bear Caspar. Jessie is a sweet, adorable and slightly innocent Omega who was sheltered most of his life. I loved Jessie and his personality a lot, getting to know him was the best part of this book and I really hope to see him in the next upcoming books in this series as well. I thought it was funny that even though Asher and Jessie both felt a “mating” pull and pretty instant chemistry to each other Asher was still trying to avoid Jessie and give him time to make the “omega’s choice”… Like that would even work, or like he even had a chance to change his mind when fate intervenes. Lol. You could tell from the beginning of this story though that all of these Alpha/Shifter men had a special bond and dynamic between them, other than just working relationships. For them to form a pack together was a pretty forgone conclusion in my opinion, it just seemed like a good move in the right direction. I am also really interested to see how other aspects and events that are mentioned in this book will play out in the next few books so I will definitely be keeping my eye out for those too, I need to know what happens next with this new and unusual shifter pack.

Audio – Great pick on the narrator Kenneth Obi for this book (and hopefully the rest of the series). I really liked the slight “southern type” inflection in his voice for Asher’s character. I also really enjoyed listening to his take on Jessie, making sure his voice was as sweet as Jessie’s character was. All of the other secondary Alpha character voices were portrayed very well too, Kenneth’s voice was seamless from one character to the next. He did a great job with the entire book start to finish.

I own this book and have read it several times. When I saw it was.out in audio it made my day!!. This was my first book that I have listened to that was narrated by Kenneth Obi and he is now one of my favorites. I love the fact that when you listen to him narrating you are actually able to distinguish between the characters and it's not just a monotone mess!!

The book itself is wonderful. Almost a May/ December romance (but not quite). definitely an awesome beginning to a series that is a mix of romance, mpreg, mystery(ish), & shifters. Highly recommend!!!!
