Seth is so confused. If Coulson is straight, why is he checking Seth out?

Seth is an out and proud Secret Service agent. When he’s asked to assist the FBI on an investigation, he meets FBI agent Coulson.

Coulson is straight. Or so he says. Seth has no reason to doubt that, not even when they become close friends. Really close friends. But that’s all they are: friends.

Until Seth finds himself checking Coulson out a little too closely - especially certain over-sized body parts - and notices Coulson doing the same to him. For someone who’s straight, Coulson shows a lot of interest in Seth’s dating life, his preferences, and his hook ups. Could it be that he’s not so straight after all?

Meanwhile, every discovery they make in their investigation leads to even more questions. Who’s really behind the assassination? How did they pull it off? And most importantly: What are they planning next?

Friends is a friends-to-lovers romance that begins with a slow burn friendship but ends in high steam. The White House Men series is a romantic suspense set in the White House. Like what would happen if The West Wing and The American President had a gay lovechild. Each book has a new love story with a happily ever after, but the suspense plot ends on a cliff-hanger and will be continued in the rest of the series, so the series needs to be listened to in order. Strong TW for a detailed description of terrorist attack.

The best demisexual romance book I've read! OK, there's only been 2, but still!! I'm demi and this book just reaffirmed that I'm not ace, or weird in a bad way (because I *gladly* claim being weird in good ways), I just haven't met the person that awakens the feelings a lot of other people have when *looking* at random people.

I also like that there is an underlying mystery to solve that (so far) has extended through both books in this series.

I love that there is a wide and growing assortment of preferences and kinks in this created world. And that the guys are just living their lives, not making a point to out themselves, but not hiding it either. Because orientation, preferences, etc are still growing in common-ness in the real world, it needs to be mentioned in literature too, but the dream of orientation being so widely accepted, and not an issue, that there isn't a perceived need to disclose it to the world, is refreshing even though in this story it is disclosed it's done in a way I hope becomes standard in the real world.

Demi!

Seth and Coulson put agency posturing aside, work together bring bombers to justice. They respect each other and a friendship blooms, how deep their bond goes is apparent to everyone but them.

The plot thickens more clues are dug up, who can we really trust and how many more people will pay the ultimate price.

The West Wing is starting to sizzzle

Narrator’s modulation is perfect and adds a plus to an overall ‘A’ or a ‘5’ rating. I enjoined the pitch tone and pace of his storytelling techniques.
The story especially the size of the main character’s peter is perhaps an exaggeration because the promise of pain to feel pleasure is a fantasy only in sadomasochism.

Possibly the best narration I've ever heard. The story is romantic and fun, and will leave you wanting to read the next book in the series right away. Strongly recommend!
