Even now, we rent opposite sides of a duplex, and we work across the aisle from one another at The Corn Corners Tribune. Basically, there isn't a part of my life Trevor hasn't touched. I take that back.

He hasn't touched me. He's made it clear we're in the friend zone, and whatever feelings he had for me were a passing thing for him, whereas mine keep growing like a Chia pet on a humid summer day in the Midwest—unruly and apparently pointless. So now I'm resigned to get Trevor out of my system once and for all.

What a lovely surprise. This is a first for this author for me but not for the narrators. I actually picked up this book because of Amy McFadden and Will Damron because I enjoy their work.

I loved that this is a friends to lovers situation, how they have always just been the best of friends and no one wants to rock the boat. They mean too much to each other to risk the friendship buttttt…. As always things can’t stay the same, something has to give.

I loved how well the book was thought out, how smart it was, I didn’t want to put it down.
I snagged the rest of the series in audio.

This is a clean romance all you’re getting is a few kisses. 😘😘

Savanah Scott’s book is a delight! And Amy McFadden and Will Damron were amazing narrators! I will definitely look for them again. And I’m adding Ms Scott to my list of favorite authors. I really enjoyed this “friends-to-lovers” story.

Too slow of a slow burn

The narrators did a great job. This is a zero spice book with just kissing. I read the ebook awhile back and read the entire series so I must have liked it or I would have quit after the first book. When I saw the series on the audible sale I bought the first three books. The rest of this review is going to contain a major spoiler. I remembered the general story. I didn’t remember that it takes the entire freaking book for them to get together. The audiobook is 9 hours and 8.5 of them are the characters just not having a conversation. Around 6 hours in that got really tedious. I will listen to the next book since I bought it but not right away.

WARNING….. start in the morning!!!!

This was such a good book… nonstop listen!!!!! I definitely recommend starting early because I stayed up all night to finish… DEFINITELY WORTH THE CREDIT!!!

Delightful clean rom-com

This friends to lovers rom-com has wit, sass and fun. I love this small town and well-developed characters. The dual perspective narrators really brought the story to life.
