Sweet story - loved the witty writing!

The main character is so believable and down-to-earth that you feel like she could be one of your real-life friends. I loved how each chapter name was also a song title! Becky Monson is such a clever writer. The witty descriptions and dialogue made it especially fun. I wanted to read (listen) to this non-stop. Cute storyline that had me pulling for the characters and finished with a satisfying epilogue. Might be my favorite Becky Monson book yet!

A sweet story

I really enjoyed this audiobook. The author did a fabulous job creating a storyline around music, fame and life. The main characters are so different and yet so the same. An adorable story that whisks you away on an adventure of romance and forgiveness.

Positively Charming, Sweet Romance

I absolutely LOVED this book! It was funny and swoony and all around adorable. The plot moved at a rate that wouldn’t allow me to stop until I knew how it was going to play out. I devoured it in two days, when it usually takes me a week or two to get through an audiobook. I just couldn’t stop listening to this one!

The audiobook narrator is FANTASTIC! She had a lot of personality in her performance and I loved the different voices she did for all of the characters. I felt fully immersed and the only thing that could have made it better was if the narrator had become a boy band singer and sung the lyrics for me. Just kidding, but I really wish I could go to a Finn Thatcher concert!

All the little pieces polished this book up to be positively charming. Song titles for every chapter. Original lyrics written out. Little domestic moments. Witty texting conversations. Unrequited love angst. Celebrity romance. And a happy dose of fake dating.

Near perfect clean romance

I’ve enjoyed everything that I’ve read/listened to by this author, and this book is no exception. Is it cheesy and a little far fetched, yes; but it’s also heartwarming and moving, intriguing and kept me wanting more until well after the last word. It made me laugh and definitely made me cry. I was grinning like a lovesick schoolgirl through most of it.
There is one swear word, and one heated kissing scene, but nothing graphic or tasteless.
I highly recommend this author and this book. I can’t wait to read more.
