Once upon a time, Maggie Cooper lived for adventure. Jumping out of planes was child’s play. Now she can’t even work up the nerve to ask out her coworker. Great story and narration.

Good, clean, swoony, romance. Loved it. Didn’t want to put it down. And Holly Warren is one of the few narrators that I like and who doesn’t ruin the story for me.

Well-developed characters

I like how the focus of the story was on the characters' grieving processes rather than jumping into bed together. There weren't any sex scenes, actually. I relate to how the male character processes things, so it was helpful to see how other people interpret that.

this book was like watching a Hallmark movie very cute and tame absolutely loved it

Dealing with Grief

The story line was wonderful And therapeutic for someone who has suffered the loss of their mom…like me.

the depth of the characters

I really enjoyed this book! it touched on the devastation a person feels after losing a parent and really spoke to the way the characters coped with the loss. This was a great romance, without all the sexual details you see in many books today.
