Defenseman Grayson Brody has played most of his career with Calgary, but has long fallen out of love with his team. After coming out, he has struggled with his teammates and management, and wishes he'd never done it at all.

With the addition of Remy Stone shaking everything up—both on the ice and off—things start looking up for the first time in years. What starts as a friendship between them turns into a casual, friends-with-benefits relationship.

A casual relationship with a teammate is fraught with complications, particularly when it starts to feel less casual to Grayson, and neither of them is sure what the future looks like for them.

A Grin-Worthy Read!

This was an utter delight! From the storytelling to the narration. Chef’s kiss. And that bonus chapter! It was so good to catch a peek of all our Offside guys. But seriously, this book was a lot of fun and I’m already ready to read it again.

I hope we haven’t seen the last of Z, though.

Great installment. But the timeline messes with my head.

I’m having a hard time with this series because at first I thought it might not be in order, but now might just be massive time jumps, and it’s jerking me around. I wish the chronology with the other series was included in the description so I could follow along instead of being pulled out of the narrative trying to figure it out.

Really enjoyed the book it was sweet not very spicy but still a good listen.

I’ve enjoyed all of JJ Mulder’s hockey books so far. This one was great, too, and the bonus chapter made for a wonderful ending. I know I’ll be rereading this series in the future.
