Suddenly, small town life explodes into a story right out of Sam’s imagination, with intrigue, guns and betrayal to boot. What she thinks of as a madcap caper is a fight for life or death in Mitchell’s book. Between dodging bullets, chasing a would-be terrorist, and dealing with drop-in relatives, there might just be a shot at romance - if the bad guys don’t get them first.

Witty and captivating...

Engaging story with witty characters. A missing chicken order, a diner server/romance novelist, Samantha, and an FBI agent named Mitchell Mitchell...well, not really, but that’s Sam calls him...turns into a combination of Columbo and Get Smart! You will find yourself laughing out loud! Most importantly, you’ll never see the ending coming! Great story and performance.

opposites attract

Could Sam be more awkward and more opposite of Mitchell??? I like how the connection between the two grew over time. She seemed to wear him down with her charm, and he couldn't resist. lol. I liked her tenacity at the end. Mitchell's protective nature shines when hope is almost lost. Drama, betrayal, intrigue, and romance. This gave me the old timey feels. Entertaining. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.
