warriors and their strong female!

Amazing!!! I'm obsessed with Michele's galaxy! can we talk about how bada$$ her heroines are!! This one deals with grief and self-blame/guilt. This whole series is about different traumas and how the characters all learn to grow from it and find happiness!

Amazing series.

Love this series and this was a perfect addition. sofiya is a special character I enjoyed her courage and Heart. Her gladiators will treasure her always. This was a wonderful adventure and has a HEA. The narration was spot on.

gladiators & virgin

This series takes place in the same universe as Mills’ Monsters Love Curvy Girls, Monster Bites & Alien Bounty Hunters series. This book can be read as a standalone but you’ll enjoy it more if you read it in series order.

Possible Spoilers:
For six months, Sofiya Petrov has been living in hiding in Section Sixteen of The Swirl all by herself. Her father, Doctor Alessandro Petrov was a brilliant researcher working for the Intergalactic Health Organization who died trying to reach The Swirl. Father and daughter were human refugees from the genocide of the native Yurds on planet Rigtor Five. The Creekans withdrew their protection of the planet, leaving it open to depredation by the Lurks, who also wanted exclusive ownership of Dr Petrov’s work.
Kane Ito and Zeno Ito of the Creekan Gladiator team were heroes of the Gladiator Nation reality show but are on the run after burning down the stadium when the overseer killed teammate Ren’s mate and child. They weren’t allowed under his contract, but only monumental greed explains escalation to murder. The Ito team uses a ship Ren purchased as a backup plan to get his family away. It’s damaged and Ren is killed in trying to get to The Swirl and Section Sixteen, which he purchased from the previous owner. Zeno and Kane arrive to find Sofiya already there, claiming the rule of adverse possession (aka squatter’s rights). With an assist in negotiation by Axel, and having nowhere else to go, Zeno, Kane and Sofiya agree to co-exist at the station, and share in the work and profits. With raging attraction from the beginning, it only takes a few days before the three are deeply involved.
Gold does a decent job of narration.

Still enjoying this series

I was pleasantly pleased to see this 3rd in this series. I truly enjoyed the gladiators and the strength of the female character for surviving on a space port for 6 months alone. It is unfortunate that races choose to conquer other races in space (not unlike ot own history) but that is what makes the survival so interesting to read about.

Different

Another good addition to the series; lots spent on actual plot rather than sex; although I don’t mind hot and steamy sex scenes, it was refreshing to move storyline forward. Narrator did a great job as with previous books in series.
