can't force myself to finish, honest review

I love luke daniels who doesn't, but this was garbage, he has an ability to have different voices but the main character is normal voice? dude, its a goblin, could have had fun with it in so many ways completely making the weak story even better by having the main charachter having personality, not the same old normal voice really ,,its a goblin helllllo, what a cool chance to get creative or capture the audience???!! the story couldn't capture me either, I tried 2ce to give it another chance but can't get into it...just disappointed

Solid story and characters

Overall an entertaining story and creative use of the LITrpg genre. Only detractor: MC felt too much like a human with a goblin “skin”, not a traditional fantasy goblin.

great introduction to LIT RPG

I was not sure what let RPG was but I have played video games and D&D all of my life so I was very excited to find out that this genre existed. I wasn't sure at first but after a while it became addicting and I pretty much this whole book from cover to cover. I thought the narrator was pretty funny and I also really enjoyed the blooper reel at the end.

enjoyable listen, I would have enjoyed spending some more time delving into the goblins to really give us a feeling of a different type of MC.
