A wondrous devotional

Bonhoeffer’s writings about our Lord’s advent are thought-provoking, inspiring, challenging. Listening to this each year makes the incarnation of Christ real to me.

I listened straight through this time.

Next year I will listen each of Advent and Christmas devotionals as each day comes. There is profound wisdom here, and a sadness about the surrounding situation that may well echo the sadness Mary and Joseph felt about the Romans on that night long ago. But the joy and certain hope of the triumph of the Gospel shines in each thought as I face the new year. Till next Advent . . .
