A jilted groom and a guy who doesn't believe in monogamy fall in love? Yeah. Right.

After getting cheated on at my own goddamn wedding, I'm through with men. I'm approaching fifty, and all I've ever wanted is to settle down, get married, and live happily ever after. But yeah, that hasn't exactly worked out great for me.

The last person I expect to understand me is Tate. Sure, he's cute, curious, and clever. A firecracker with no filter who somehow manages to stay friendly and genuine at the same time. But he isn't exactly a settle-down kinda guy. Oh, and did I mention he's also twenty years younger than me?

There's no way something could ever happen between the two of us, so how is it possible that Tate has got me looking at love—and him—in a whole new light?

I like the vibe of this story. We’ve seen Gus as a side character in the first two books and I was looking forward to his story. On the surface Tate seems an unlikely partner for Gus. But as the two build a friendship and then fake boyfriends it was great to see the build up to their happy ending. Listening to the audio version was fun and enjoyable.

I have been looking forward to Gus' story since book one. And I have loved Tate's character since then as well. It's nice seeing side characters you have fallen in love with get their own story and have their moment to truly shine. Gus and Tate are such loveable characters. I loved seeing more of their friendship and how smoothly that turned into much more. Overall, this was thoroughly enjoyable and I wad so happy for our sweet Gus to get the HEA he has always deserved. That said, my only issue is how Tate's polyamory was handled. What the author told us was good, but what happened differed. It just felt odd to me and dinged it just a touch in the end. All in all, this was my favorite book in the series so far.

Cute & steamy, but wished Tate's polyamory was handled better

I absolutely despise how tates polyamory was treated in this. I usually like this author but it'll take me some time to listen to more of her books

I hate the way the polymorphism is treated in this
