I’ve been in love with Dr. Grant Brighton for four long years.

He’s tall. Gorgeous. Brilliant. An amazing single dad.

He’s also straight, uninterested in dating someone 10 years younger than him, and, tragically, *my boss*.

If I’d known taking the nanny position would mean mangling my heart, I might never have accepted his offer, but I love the Brighton family so I’ve resigned myself to never living the fairytale....

At least until the Dean of Admissions at the girls’ dream school says only families with two parents need apply, and in desperation, Grant makes me a different offer: to be his on-paper *husband*.

With things heating up between us and my heart hanging in the balance, how can I convince Grant to make me the proposal I really want: to turn this marriage of convenience into a real-life happily-ever-after?

Lucy Lennox always makes my heart happy with her characters weather it is the kids being kids or siblings and friends lovingly pointing out the obvious and not so obvious. My heart needed this story.

Micheal Dean is an incredible narrator. I never have to worry if I will know who is speaking. He does a wonderful job of giving each character their own unique voice. He was fantastic.

Made my heart happy

Like all of her books, this was funny and sweet and sexy. I knew it was a novella so it’s just my fake complaint that it went too fast and I wanted it to be a 10 hour book instead of 4. The reader, Michael Dean, was amazing as always.

Wanted it to be a longer book!

Grant and Brody were so amazing together. I loved how much they complimented eachother, and also how long they both had been hiding their feelings for eachother. I love a good fake marriage turned true love trope and this story did it so well. Michael Dean did a fantastic job bringing these two characters and all the secondary characters to life. I hated Liza though. How dare she come back after basically abandoning her kids for years, and then has the nerve to come into Grant’s home and treat Brody like crap cause she doesn’t compare to him in both Grant’s heart or as an actual good parent like Brody is to the girls she never wanted. The audacity of this lady. I wanted her to fall off a cliff and was so pissed she was never put in her place by Grant, Brody or even the oldest daughter Jacey. The whole few sentences at the end to try and absolve her behavior did nothing of the sort and honestly just made me mad. It was ludicrous… the rest of the story I loved but I couldn’t give it a 5 because there was no consequences for her behavior and if left me as a listener feeling slighted that she didn’t get called out by anyone. All in all though the story was great, and I honestly which is was longer as I wasn’t quite ready to leave Grant, Brody and their girls

Really Enjoyable Listen!
