Silliness takes over the stories

Considering hese novellas feature the MCs from the first four full length books, this was crying out for duet narration. Without Mr. Mavel narrating, for instance, it threw me off hearing Cy’s girly voicing.

Additionally, the tone kind of jumped the shark from comedy to slapstick, complete with clowns and randomly overacted accents. This was all flash and no substance.

as a fairly conservative woman I take offense to being labeled constantly as evil, or radical and basically not worth living not only in everyday life, in rhe media and now also in novels. So glad this was a free download. Good bye and good riddance
