The socialist Democrats have just lost the 2022 midterm elections and were infuriated that the American people had won. One week before the new US Congress and US Senate were to be sworn into office, the socialist government, along with thousands of DHS, FBI, and other loyal government agencies, knowing that the EMP was coming, fled with their families to five separate underground bunker complexes around the country.

On the first day of dark times, Sam Johnson, a computer software designer and former military soldier, finds himself in the center of a battle to come and will unknowingly become the leader to the new South Carolina Militia and will have to fight for the freedom of a new Tri-State Union.

Some might say the concept could never happen. Is it possible? In the political mess that is happening in the US who can argue against the premise!

The story was pretty good, the narrator was not. It was pretty hard to get through. The characters were interesting and likable .
