Wish I had read this last year!

This book has a lot of vital information that really helps you and your kids venture onto the next steps after High School. Glad I read it and so much applies now and applied when my son first left.

Seems made for wealthy smart kids

Book has interesting parts but for the most I couldn’t my kids situation to the kids the book was talking about. Kids going to expensive colleges doing AP classes, traveling aboard and parents expecting them not ever to come back home. Our situation is totally different, my kids might go to community college .. might have to commute .. and I still not 100% sure that they all will attend college. Kudos to the authors for an excellent narration, but I wish it was intended for more normal audience.

Highly Recommended

I cannot recommend this book highly enough! Every parent of a teen or young adult could benefit from it. If your child is in late MS or early HS years, it’s not too early to read or listen to the book. There is plenty to be gleaned I early on. (I fall into this category , and while I will definitely reference it yearly for details of the parts that don’t apply yet, I’m so glad I read it early on.) If your child is in late HS years, it’s a great time to read or listen to the book, possibly with your child (while he or she is a captive audience in the car, maybe). If your child is in college or working, is still living at home or has moved out, read or listen to the book. There is so much great information in this book for all parents of teens and young adults. And if you’re on Facebook, I recommend joining the Grown & Flown Facebook group. It’s how I first found out about the book, but I’ve also gotten great nuggets of knowledge and wisdom from the group.
