Caroline's story is revealed in raw and incredible detail. Her connections to her American Indian ancestry and history of the Arkansas land are interwoven throughout, revealing the ancient curses and the stones of time that have seen everything.

Caroline is a real person and the story is completely true. The names and places are real, but were changed to free Caroline, punish the guilty, and protect the innocent, who did nothing wrong.

It's good

I found the story very relatable but scary at times. I think it's a good narrative for those who want an interesting story.

After the initial shock and having to take breaks from listening because it is so unbelievably sad and disturbing and I had to process that a child went through so much I think at best I feel perplexed

Abused kids speak a language you can’t learn

Definitely a book I didn’t want to put down.
