This is the second book in the Caroline series, beginning where "Halfway to Heaven Caroline’s Story" ended. Caroline has a chance encounter with a man who appears to be her saving grace and agrees to take a chance.

However, taking this chance began a journey, leading her to the same kind of people she already knew, but they were in a new disguise. They were self-righteous and smug in their certainty and intolerant moralities. The submissive, hopeless dreamer in Caroline was easily manipulated while they rode their red carpets of authority.

This did nothing more than plant seeds of mistrust in Caroline's mind and fertilize and water the soil with their repeated immoral behaviors. The seedlings were filled with suspicion and doubt.

Their narcissism, delusions of grandeur, and prejudice will become dangerous and highly destructive, leaving narrow-mindedness to eventually seal their fates.
