He’s built a nice life for himself in the small town where he grew up, running the hair salon and playing trivia, but something’s always been missing. Love. When Howie returns to Clover Ridge for his father’s funeral, Jim promises himself he won’t make the same mistake twice, no matter how much his heart tells him to try again.

Howie escaped his past and built success as a professional hockey player. But when his father dies, he’s forced to confront the truth: he’s not as straight as he’s been telling himself all these years. There’s something about Jim that makes him want to take a chance on something new, something he never allowed himself to want. Is it real though? Or just a confused mix of memories and grief?
