Anything except marrying a man her father chooses for her. When her deerhound, Corrie, insists on following Gavan, Marsali decides that's the excuse she needs to have the adventure she craves. She'll go where he goes, whether he is the man promised by her spell - or not.

Gavan has already seen much of the world denied to Marsali. He's ready to settle down. She is eager to spread her wings. Can they find what they need with each other?

Short free book. Yummy narrator

The rich voice of the narrator made a silly formulaic story an ok book.

LOL at the reviewer who thought it wasn’t ‘clean & wholesome.’ It was *very* tame.

Kinda dreadful

Wow-I thought, at the beginning, that this might be kinda cute. Lo and behold another dumb heroine and a man child who can’t articulate his feelings. Not only can’t this man speak, he constantly talks himself out of the truth. For a character who has “traveled and completed school”, he was REALLY irritating and totally lacked courage. Even at the end, his brother had to kick him out of the keep to go after her. 🥱 Yawn.

Not a clean book

This said it was clean but it had close to a sex scene and then the end it had a very mild sex scene. I think it should not be in the clean and wholesome category if it has any of that in it.
