I hate cliff hangers!!

The story was ok but I hate cliffhangers. The politics were bad.
Probably my last!

Cute Cozy Mystery Series!!

I really like the Kenni Lowry cozy mystery series. Kenni is obviously the protagonist. She’s also the elected sheriff following in the footsteps of her grandfather now deceased. The twist to the story is that Kenni sees and speaks to her grandfather and he assists her with solving crimes committed in her relatively small quiet town. She does need to be careful because people have seen her talking to no one and wondered about her sanity. So when talking to him she directs her conversations to her dog. The mysteries are good and would be believable if the grandfather weren’t involved, but who am I to say? Meanwhile prepare to be entertained!

In this book Kenni is running for reelection in the middle of a murder case. Her opponent is doing his best to show what a horrible job she’s doing when the case isn’t solved quickly. If you want to find out what happens you’ll have to get the book.

Hillary Huber does a fantastic job narrating.

Who Wrote This?

Nine books in and this felt like it was either written by a different author or the author was forced to make a word count loaded with adjectives. There were also some editorial mistakes where scenes were inconsistent with the set up. I plan on finishing the series - but book 10 will either confirm or alter my intentions.
