A great Mafia book

Great story, wonderful MC there is nothing I can say about this book beside I loved it.
And as always Paige McKinney was wonderful.

Really enjoyed this book!

I really enjoyed this story. Siobhan is the attorney (Consigliere) of a mafia boss and "take no prisoners". Royal, an undercover FBI agent is also bad-ass. I liked the pace and really liked the chemistry between them. I really got pulled into this story and stayed up way too late finishing the audio :-). The narrator did a great job with Siobhan and Royal's voices! I also loved that there was some "Cameo" appearances from my all time favorite mob family (Cain Casey) :-).

Good buy!

There wasn’t much action considering it was a mob crime and fbi kind of book. I guess I wanted a bit of fight from the fbi or crime family but it was wrapped up nicely overall. It was an interesting twist bringing in a character from another author. I vaguely remembered the name so I had to check and I haven’t actually read the series but it was on my maybe list. It was a good book overall just felt a little linear.

Refreshing and new with a twist

This latest book from Carsen Taite was very refreshing with a twist. Truly enjoyed listening to this book and reading it was great as well. Can’t wait to see what’s next on her list to write.
