With friends like these, who needs enemies? A twisting psychological thriller about what lies behind a marriage's facade—and the deadly results . . .

Hazel and Jamie are happily married. Or so it would seem. Behind closed doors, things are far from normal. Jamie has an unhealthy obsession, and Hazel is more worried about herself than her husband.

So when Millicent injects herself into their lives, with Jamie firmly in her sights, the trio end up on a path that will end in death.

Everyone has secrets. Everyone has a dark side.

But who is good, who is bad, and who is going to get away with murder?

The whole story was interesting & twisted. The narrator did a fantastic job. This story was definitely different.

I regretfully did not complete “Her Final Victim” by NJ Moss, despite the excellent narration by Antonia Beamish, Ben Allen and Anna Cordell. Unfortunately, the plot failed to captivate me, leaving me feeling confused and disappointed. I reached a point where I no longer cared about the story’s outcome and jumped to the end. As my mentor once wisely said, “If everyone liked the same things, the world would indeed be a boring one.” I acknowledge that opinions vary, and this Audible Plus book may resonate with others. However, it wasn’t my cup of tea. RIP Dan Di Leo, whose sage advice I still cherish.

An underwhelming thrill …

While the story is a bit heavy with triggers on child abuse, I believe it was very tastefully done. Writing style and story was refreshingly original.
