Great Audiobook

My husband and I listened to Her Final Words on our recent trip, and it was intriguing. The storyline kept you enticed and trying hard to figure out who did it!! We kept guessing wrong, but when we finally found out who it was we were shocked.

serial killer in a small town

I really liked the main character she was strong and smart. I wish the author would have given the sheriff a little more character. She starts out making him seem like something out of the wild west and then .... I imagine he was in a tight situation but he needed some redemption. The kids dying from cancer almost seemed like an afterthought.
The story as a whole was very good and I will read another book by this author.

Good Story Not Well Presented

The story line was good, but the characters & timeline jumps were not well presented. The voices of the characters were too forced & extreme. It only served to remind you it was a story book.
