Event planner Lexi Mannis has a busy life in Chicago - too busy to have a boyfriend. For special occasions, she has her stand-in boyfriend, Mac Northrop. Mac offers (almost) all the perks of a real boyfriend - furniture assembly, a date to big events, and someone to cook for. Not my favorite

Not my favorite book by any means. It's really hard to connect with a book where the narrator has only one tempo and doesn't change it for each character. I can handle that It's a female, but she didn't hit the mark. The story itself was okay and if you just want to be read a story then maybe this book is for you.
