Sienna is a hardworking sheep farmer in the outback of South Australia whose quick action saves a family from a dangerous situation after a tornado tears through the state. The media attention that follows brings her more than just hero status.
Sienna meets the love of her life, Marcus, but she also gets swept up in the turmoil surrounding a series of murders by a madman - driven by misguided revenge - that threatens everything that is dear to her. Sienna has to be strong to survive the loss, heartbreak, and physical pain of the ordeal.

I was seriously having trust issues. At one point I was very angry because of something that happened. Since there was an HEA, I got over it. lol
The narration was pretty good. I heard him swallow a couple of times but due to the nature of this story I wasn’t entirely sure it wasn’t him playing the part of a nervous or scared character.
I would recommend this book.
I love a good mystery!!

Damien has returned to Australia from the US after his friend and fellow SEAL, George, is shot in the head while they are working as mercenaries in Mexico. George is given a very slim chance at survival due to his injury and Damien decides to go on holiday after the death of his mother.
Sienna soon finds herself in a fight for her life as George tries to find Damien and seek revenge for his (supposed) betrayal. The plot brings these unlikely characters together in several tense encounters, all while Sienna is trying to decide whether or not to pursue a relationship with Marcus, temporarily assigned as a policeman in her area.
The action is well-paced and I found myself listening long after I needed to do other things in order to see what would happen next. There were plenty of twists in the plot and I was kept guessing up until the end. The characters were well-developed, the writing was great and the author's descriptions of life in the Outback were especially good.
The narrator did a great job and added a lot to my enjoyment of the audiobook. I was given the chance to listen to this audiobook by the publisher and chose to review it.
