Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

A haunting dual-timeline thriller where archaeology, trauma, and human resilience collide—building toward a final twist that redefines the entire story.

At an excavation near Hadrian’s Wall, archaeologist Claire Langford uncovers the remains of a Roman soldier buried beside his Britannic wife—an impossible love story preserved for two millennia. But the artifacts hint at something deeper, something that challenges everything historians thought they knew.

Meanwhile in Europe, investigator Marcel Fornier relentlessly hunts a powerful human trafficking network. His pursuit drags him through the criminal underworld, where every clue leads him closer to a truth too dangerous to face.

Two timelines. Two mysteries. One revelation that only becomes clear when both stories finally converge.

This novel rewards patient readers—every detail, every emotional beat, every clue builds toward a twist that strikes with the force of a tidal wave. The ending reframes everything that came before it—and changes the story forever.

The emotional power is real. The discoveries are shocking.
This is a book meant to be experienced from first page to last.

Perfect for fans of Kate Quinn, Paula Hawkins, and Dan Brown, this blend of archaeology, suspense, and psychological depth delivers a finale readers will never forget.

And the journey continues—
A direct sequel is already in the works, expanding the world, raising the stakes, and unraveling new secrets.

Sorry, but this is an absolutely horrible narration. Not only does it obviously not understand what it’s saying, it mechanically tries to insert emphasis in all the wrong places. It does an extreme disservice to the author. “I told Marcelle. That when he showed me your picture.” It got so that I dreaded going back to it so i decided to simply not finish the book. It’s that bad.

Virtual Voice is an Avoid signal now for me

yuck - not the place for AI- humans are much more emotive. I'll never try it again.
