Great modern Cold War thriller!

If you appreciate (and miss) classic Cold War thrillers, this story is a great modern version with very well developed characters. The plot lines are intertwined quite well and come together in a very satisfying way.

Herzog keeps you glued to his narrative: weaving together a number of different story lines. You will never guess what happens next

Edge of your seat spy thriller

Just when I was missing Lance Spector so much, a new spy comes along. I think Saul Herzog is my new favorite writer. He creates fascinating characters I grow attached to. My only complaint is I have to wait for the next book in the series. Oh, and I loved the ode to Lance Spector. Get it!

That all stories don't have happy endings. That's surreal.

I truly enjoyed the story and look forward to more in this series. Mr Herog is an excellent writer.

Great story! Great characters! You can literally feel the pain and anguish of the characters.
