Honeytrap (noun)
[huhn-ee-trap]

  1. Espionage: A covert operation in which seduction is used to extract secrets, compromise a target, or trigger their destruction.
  2. A weapon disguised as desire.

Three women. Three missions. One conspiracy that could ignite World War III.

Irina — The lover.
Margot — The operative.
Oksana — Orphan of the Cold War.

As their stories collide across continents, a hidden war comes into focus—one of buried intelligence, blackmail, betrayal, and the women willing to risk everything to stop the next global catastrophe.

Gripping, seductive, and unrelenting, The Honeytrap is a razor-edged espionage thriller for fans of John le Carré, Lee Child, and Robert Ludlum.

If you appreciate (and miss) classic Cold War thrillers, this story is a great modern version with very well developed characters. The plot lines are intertwined quite well and come together in a very satisfying way.

Just when I was missing Lance Spector so much, a new spy comes along. I think Saul Herzog is my new favorite writer. He creates fascinating characters I grow attached to. My only complaint is I have to wait for the next book in the series. Oh, and I loved the ode to Lance Spector. Get it!

That all stories don't have happy endings. That's surreal.
