Horrible narrator!!! Spoilt the book for me, not another book read by him please

After having listened to the Unsanctioned Asset Series from Brad Lee, that was brilliantly narrated by Stacy Carolan! I was looking forward to the book.
I loved the story but the narrator totally spoiled it for me!
His voice is way too soft and I sometimes felt he was going to sleep. He sounds almost dreamily while narrating attacks is just totally wrong.
He should narrate romance only.

Great story, horrendous narrator

Good character development. The story line was different with a great plot. The narration was very poor. Had it not been for an intriguing story I would returned the book.

an entertaining story but...

an entertaining story. The narrator is a good one, his voice inflections are good at separating characters. Now let's talk about production and editing. first, shorten up the pauses between chapter divisions. half the time I thought my timer had timed out. second, you don't need so many chapter breaks. I realize you want to keep the interest up during the big fight scene but you literally broke a chapter at times after 4:00 or 5 sentences. That's just wasting time. and it kind of put a little bit of a damper on the overall experience.

Enjoyed the story, the pace was slow.

Really enjoyed the story, charcters and the detail. In my view, there were too many chapters or pauses in the story. Many have been combined to increase the pace without being reminded the location and timing. Other than that.. loved it.

Liked story but not narrator

I enjoyed the story enough to have already purchased book two. I am very happy that there will be a different narrator. This one sounded sappy. The books plot kept me interested in listening to the end. There was not much mystery as the bad guy was apparent early in the book. Just enough action. Thankfully no bad language or graphic sex scenes . Just a good story. I recommend.
