Not the strong Eve Duncan of past books

I like strong women! In the first two books of this trilogy, she seems to have softened to the point of nearly whiney. Come on Iris, lets give Eve her spine back. I like the premise of the stories as they have so many directions to go. Will happily read/listen to the next book and hope.

Outstanding Story

This was an outstanding story read by an excellent narrator! Simply can't wait till the next book! The story ends but continues! Very well done!

Iris is reverting to her old romance routine

Good story. Sex scenes totally unnecessary. Reminds me of her old smut novels from 20 years ago. Just give me suspense with a tease of supernatural. I can use my imagination to fill out the sexual tension. I don't need it spelled out.

Good story

Enjoyable even though I don’t like cliffhangers. Narrator did an amazing job bringing the story to life again.

Family members not by blood but by Love

This was really really good book and showed how diverse a family can be and the wonderful thing about it. Go sex scenes and that is really hard to find these days. I love it when an author knows they don’t have to throw in sex just to make their books sell.
