Demons, just to be clear. They’re apparently “misunderstood,” but the jury is still out on that. And I—a twentysomething archivist with an addiction to hoodies—somehow ended up as liaison to the demon ambassador.

If it sounds like a nightmare, that’s because it is. The demon ambassador is a stuck-up, pretentious twat... not to mention he could kill me with a thought. Worst of all, he’s getting under my skin in ways I never expected. But I’m the only hunter who doesn’t actively want to kill him, so… tag, I’m it.

I’ve already been betrayed by those I should have been able to trust the most. How hard can hanging out with a higher demon be?

I loved the book and Greg brought the characters to life! perfect narration. I loved his voice for Marc. It was what I had pictured in my mind.

Back and forth

the main characters have a great dialog and I love how they go back and forth and they not afraid to say what they want.

I feel like I missed a book

The book overall is great but I feel like I missed another book so many characters and backstory happening I was like who is this character ? But overall the book was a great listen. You can never go wrong when Greg is bringing the characters to life. I’ll be waiting for more books for the series

Loved It!

Ian is a hunter. Mark is a higher demon sent to earth as an ambassador. As Ian and Mark spend more time together they develop feelings toward each other and fall in love, all the while trying to find out if the family they suspect is in league with a higher demon and who that demon is. Great story!

I loved Greg’s narration.
