A Wonderful Story!!

I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't stop listening to it, and was sad when it ended.

How Have I Missed This?

In all my historical romance phases, I've missed Giltenan's books. Until now. This book was excellent, having all the components that make this genre good. So glad I listened to it on audiobook!

such a rollercoaster

6.5hrs into the story and.....

oh dear goddess i'm enjoying the book but i'm ready to scratch out my eyes because of all the damn angst and drama. I have NEVER been so infuriated by a book that i was enjoying...lol. Marks of a good author but HOLY SHIT!!

back to the book.....

ok all done. WOW Talk about a rollercoaster of emotion. I think I felt it all. Anger, happiness, sadness, etc...

The mystery of who Grace's maternal family ties was wrapped up in the last hour or so of the book. I kinda expected more from the island clan. I swear Bram's parents made me want to go ape shit on them. Very entertaining listen.

Highland echoes

I really liked this story, the heroine went through a lot. I became extremely angry 75% of the way through this story I didn't know if I could finish listening to it. I contacted the author she was extremely pleasant and very helpful, she suggested that I would be happy with the story if I continued to listen to it. The story is about the sruggles and heartache the H and H went through and how they over came the obstacles. I finished the story and was glad I did. I will continue to follow this author she is a great author who tries to put real life events in her stories and wants the listener to experience what the H and H are going through. I gave the story 4 stars because of the spot in the story that caused me such strong emotions and heartache. I recommend this story to listeners who like a real life story with characters that can and will overcome the obstacles for love. Thank you.

The story kept you engaged the entire time. The characters really touched you and made cheer for them especially Grace. Well done
