Not as good as first in series

This audio tends to repeat itself for a few sentences. This book in series was extended way too much. It could have been shortened a great deal. The narration was superb

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I really liked the character of Flanna - 'The Flame': She was bold, strong and definitely in charge, which was a nice change. The story was a little slow to get going but once it picked up it was action packed and passion filled. This narrator is wonderful, she is the best at doing male voices that I have heard so far, which really helps makes the romance dynamic and believable. I would recommend because Roderic is awesome, really sexy and crafty and because the second half of the story makes up for the first.

The story was drawn out...not sure if it was the narrator's reading of the story or the writing...but I thought it would never end. I would have liked a lot more "niceness" and less "battling" between the characters. I just did not relate and I think it was because of the narration...not good at all.

Great improvement, narration and story. It was gripping, intriguing and exciting. I couldn't put it down. I look forward to the next in the series.

Very disappointing

What disappointed you about Highland Flame?

This was a waste of a credit IMO. The story drags and the narrator is awful, I really disliked this book and struggled through it.I would never read another book by this author or the narrator.

Plot is slow and tedious
