One party. One wild night in her entire life and Faith Car winds up pregnant! What were the odds? And what were the odds that the handsome stranger who'd gotten her pregnant had only made love to her because of a stupid bet! And now he didn't want anything to do with her or the baby that was growing inside her.

Edward Brenner knew as soon as he saw Faith Carr that he would love her. But he also knew he had many obstacles to overcome. She'd been hurt. She'd been frightened and made to distrust all men. She was scared and vulnerable. And she was pregnant with his brother's child.

His Brother's Child. I loved this book just a nice easy read. I find very few on Audible Escape are just Milly Johnson, Jill Mansell type of books. Sometimes you just want to read a light romantic story. Most of the books on A Escape are just full of sex and more sex sure just copied and pasted a lot of the time, basically same old scene over and over unfortunately. I enjoy a hot book if they are a decent story but most in this section are not.

Edward decides the honorable thing to do is marry the woman that his brother got pregnant before he died. Faith agrees to this marriage in hopes of providing a better life for her child. Things start getting complicated when their fake marriage starts to feel incredibly real, and they both fall in love. This was a sweet romance with a little intrigue thrown in. Joy Nash does an amazing job narrating.

The plot seemed interesting however I could not get over the lead females weight struggles and how she constantly put her self down in front of others and in her thoughts. I'm sure by the end of the story she loves herself but I was unsympathetic and quite annoyed with the constant reminders of extra weight... she's pregnant and has a handsome man telling her how beautiful she is... not my kind of romance.
