Gripping story, but I hope the reader got a reward for this performance. So many voices, ages, accents coming out of one person! Wow!

Simply wonderful

All the books from His Dark Materials are wonderful and Ruth Wilson's narration is genius! I like to read while listening as it becomes so immersive. Love, love, loved it!

Lost the Plot

Book one is a timeless classic. Books two goes a bit off the rails, but has a few solid bits. Book three is a waste of time. Pullman sacrifices quality for preachiness. As an Atheist myself, I appreciate a good criticism of theology. The Amber Spyglass was not that.
