Max Lucado's first book that journeys from the birth of Christ to His resurrection.

Drawing from his classic writing on Jesus combined with new reflections and breathtaking art, Max Lucado again opens our eyes—and hearts—to the life and work of the Savior in a way that will change lives forever. “Jesus was, at once, common and not; alternately normal and heroic. One minute blending in with the domino players in the park, the next commanding the hell out of madmen, disease out of the dying, and death out of the dead.” Who was this man who spoke as easily with kids and fishermen as widows and waves? It is the question that has echoed down through the centuries to us today, and here is a visually stunning book that answers aspects of that question.

Max Lucado never fails to deliver. This one literally moved me to tears. Amazing job of narrating by Ben Holland. I can highly recommend listening to His Name is Jesus. It won't disappoint.

I have loved Max’s books since “6 Hours One Friday” arrived at my door many years ago.
I just love the way Max can take everyday words and arrange them into wonderful stories showing God’s love, Mercy and Grace to humanity.
I hope and pray that Max will continue to write under the influence of the Holy Spirit for many years to come.

Another Max Lucado great

I have a hard time hearing someone’s interpretation of them being somewhere centuries ago. I didn’t like Max Lucado’s observation as much. And some books were referenced so it confused me. Since they were not books of the Bible. Just not one of my favorite books of his. It does make me want to study the love of Jesus more on my own.

Overall a pretty good book just not Max Lucado’s best
