boring!

Could have been a good story but wat TOO MUCH unnecessary thoughts and repetitive descriptions. I wanted to like this but had to keep skipping ahead to keep from going mad. I am a fan of Justine Eyre and she is good as always.

And OMG what a whiny as@ sister Lucy. Jeez I so wanted someone to slap her.

Enjoyable listen, great characters

Cathy Maxwell created a great story with interesting and relatable characters. At times I wanted to strangle the Duchess...what a PITA. But, that's proof of how well-developed the characters are in this book. Justine Eye is not one of my favorite narrators, but she did a great job in this book.

Boring !

Story had potential but no chemistry between the hero and heroine. They just kept repeating the past ! The duke and his mother all they did was whine !
