Great Crime Thriller

This is a fun quick read. It is a crime thriller with good narration. You will enjoy the quick pace and if you're from Minnesota you will love the references to familiar landmarks.

A great mystery with many twists

The story starts with a brutal attack that while painful to experience sets you up as the reader to really want to find the assailant and bring him to Justice. You fall in love with Rue, a police officer was looking for that same man 25 years later and the twists along the way keep you guessing until the very end!

One of the easiest 5/5 ratings I’ve ever given

This is one of the easiest 5/5 ratings I’ve ever given. I loved everything about this book. The story was wonderful, Rue was amazing, she was confident, reluctant, and easily likable and admirable. Even other characters were all so well developed and were such a joy to listen to. This is an incredibly awesome story from Maurice Draine. Not sure, why I didn't get a recommendation of his book earlier, but I am glad that I finally got this recommendation, and choose to listen to this incredible audiobook.

The narrator was able to narrate the book nicely, she was able to narrate the dialogues with accents, she made the book a pleasant listen.

I will not go much into the story as I don't want to pass out spoilers, but I will just say that this is one of the best audiobooks I ever listened to on audible.
