But stumble he does when, standing in line at the registrar's office, he encounters a vision of loveliness known as Petunia. At first, the two seem entirely mismatched. Jimmy lives for all things sausage, while Petunia is a vegan activist with a dark secret to reveal about his most beloved protein source. The more he learns about her cause, the more he begins to question his own. Will he have the courage to risk everything he has ever known for love, or will the veil remain un-lifted, obscuring his eyes from a possible truth of epic proportions?

Strange and Humorous

A college student shares an apartment with a roomie who is a pig. He meets a girl who is an animal safety activist and vegetarian, and although he loves eating sausage they become fast friends. He and his roomie both don't believe sausage is made from pigs, and the story is built around the business of sausage making and what is discovered.

Quirky, fun ride!

What a strange story! Oh, I loved it, but...what a strange story. Quirky, fun ride, pretty cool collaboration between author and narrator. A straight listen for me.

An entertaining story

This narrator always adds so much to a story, and this book is no exception. Funny, unbelievable, lovable characters and a story that will grab you and shake you until you wonder what sausages are made of.
Time well spent...

A True Sausage Fest

What a premise, I liked this book. What a good fun listen. Kept me interested. I was provided this book by the author in his audiobook promo, and I am voluntarily writing my unbiased review. Oh! and can't forget Geoff Sturtevant who is a fine author and did a great job narrating.

Jimmy, a 5th year sausage making major has been fed "fake news" about the ingredients used to make the product. He isn't alone, but when he meets a vegan freshman things get confusing. He is out to prove the beautiful girl and her animal rights activist friends wrong.

The listener will journey for just under three hours to find out who is right.

This author has an imagination that will make the listener say, WHAT??? They will laugh, and scratch their head as they go back and listen again!!!



The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Geoff Sturtevant.
