Little Titch and Gideon snuggle up for a bedtime story. And Minnie Millie tells her engines a story of a clockwork engine coming to life and of a clockmaker trying to make the Great Clock work in time before the Clockwork Village itself runs out of its tick and its tock.

This was a very beautifully written story about a town. A town that runs on clock power. Toc toc becomes the clock when they are repairing the old clock. There is something wrong with it and toc toc suggests to make him the clock. He has a face and run the town.
My son loved the imagination of a town that looks like gears and is run by a clock. He keeps asking to read it again.
