Advice Done Right

I liked that the author did not sugarcoat their advice. They told you how it is. Creating an online course and passive income is work. There is no create it and leave it alone formula that is successful. Fortunately this book provides you with ways to build your audience, market your course, and continue to develop a profitable passive income stream. If you are thinking about developing an online course, mastermind group, or membership program I highly recommend reading this book.

Just get the book already

I am two-thirds of the way through this book and it’s blowing my mind. I’m in the process of building a new business and am also enrolled in a great coaching program to help me, but this book really breaks it down for you step-by-step. Graham’s podcast has become one of my favorites and it has so much great information in it that I thought there was no way there could possibly be more in the book. Boy, was I wrong! This book is absolutely packed with incredible insights and detailed information and is 0% fluff. It’s enjoyable to listen to and makes me excited about starting this chapter of my life as I now have a good plan in place.

Full of wonderful nuggets but…

Graham has delivered an incredible amount of wisdom, information and even examples. It’s a step by step guide on what the book sets out to do and it does so accurately.

Except, I finished the book feeling that all of Graham’s work has been shaped obviously by a myriad of things but equally important to note, which he does not speak about, is the importance of his demographic/culture and location. It’s impossible for Graham to know the global state of online courses, but it’s your responsibility to know yours. So take everything you can but just be aware demographics and location matter. Would’ve been nice to hear his thoughts on selling internationally for those of us who have little to no experience.

Still a highly recommended book. You gain more than you lose. In fact, I’d argue you don’t lose at all even if you can’t use everything he shares.
