Loved english as a kid!

I wish they taught this in school. Even as an adult listening to this I got so many ideas on how to brain dump especially when developing my characters. Narration was nice to listen too and inspiring. I liked the call to actions that my daughter will easily be able to take action with. Thank you so much for writing and recording this for the kids!

Simple and comprehensive

This short book does a great job of describing how to write a story in a simple and comprehensive way. Even as an adult I found myself grabbing a pen and paper and following along with the activity! It was fun and will allow a child to use their imagination and be super creative! Highly recommended!

Makes you want to write a story

This book definitely makes me want to write a story.
It is simple and easy to follow that both adults and children will enjoy.
The narrator did a great job in bringing it to life that got me writing a story already.

Awesome audiobook

This book offers a deeper look at WHY writing tools work by examining what they are meant to accomplish. By teaching the functions, Maisy is equipping your child with the skills to successfully write their story the way they envision it, rather than trying to help squeeze their ideas into an existing box or template. Of all the books on story telling I’ve listened, I have found this one to be the most comprehensive. Helps explore different types of plot structure, which I loved because a lot of writing books are like “this is the one and only way to plan a story” but they all do it a different way. This one helps to see different methods with great advice on all aspects of planning a story.
